My DT card for the Scrapbook Stamp Society

Hi All

Hope you are having a good month this is my DT card for the second challenge this month which is Hearts and Flowers details found here  Sorry it’s a little late.

The brilliant digital image I have used can be found here it’s called Her Majesty the Queen of Hearts by Heather Valentin.  I really fell in love with the image and have had fun colouring her in with pro markers

Hair: undercoat layer of ice grey 1 and then cool grey 1, 3 & 4 blended

Skin: ivory blended with vanilla and satin highlighted with blush

Dress: undercoat of dusky rose, then poppy and some highlights with rose carmine

I used the above colours on the various other areas.

I used various gems on the image, and a brad to join the hearts.

The other images were coloured in the same way

The card is slightly 3D in that it is like a small album made of hearts; I cut the hearts and the paper layers out our new toy a silhouette cameo.  The papers were a Christmas gift from a friend (thank you).  You would be able to do this with a die cut, template or free hand.

The grey edged hearts are to write on hopefully words of love.
