Picked a Frame the other day at Rite Aid and now I know what it was for

I then colored the image

For the frame i added a small ribbon and some bling

and placed Zolly on a piece of cardstock for Framing

Cameo 7 by Morgan Fiztsimons

Hi there, i just wanted to share this card which features one of the gorgeous digistamps from Scrapbook Stamp Society, this elegant lady is Cameo 7 by Morgan Fitzsimons. She's got such a lovely wistful expression on her face hasn't she?

I've used K&Co backing paper and ribbon and lace from my stash. The lady is coloured with promarkers and has a little glamour dust for some bling. I've matted the image and bps on white card distressed with a craft knife and tea dye distress ink. I've added lots of flowers and a spray of little pearls with faux pearls in the corners.

She's a lovely image to colour, hope you like her

Lil' Ragamuffin Euro MAUD Digi on Mixed Media Paper Bag Art Journaling Book

Hi everyone, I'm finally able to post my Art Journal Book I created out of corrugated cardboard along with a combination of brown paper bags & some watercolor papers. The cover was created by using a combination of gesso, acrylic paints, and found objects such as a doily and some lace trim for stenciling. For the embellishments I used a combination of silk flowers and handmade scalloped flowers. The image I used was the Lil' Ragamuffin MAUD Euro digi image created & designed by Sherri Baldy.
I sure look forward to creating more of these journal books in different sizes. Great for daily journaling or to use as a "SMASH" journal, too! : )

Zobbie is part one of a Halloween banner I am starting, using all SSS images!

Here he is a little bigger... I got the strange skin color by mixing E31 and YR000, and added some glitter glue to glam him up a bit!!

Nellie and the High Wire Act

Hi everyone!

Tory here with my first post for SSS!

I got to play with Nellie and the High Wire Act from the Cirque de Ragamuffins collection by Sherri Baldy released last Wednesday. This little girl is too cute!!

I used DCWV cardstock, stash cardstock, and some glitter glue.

For Copics, I used R32, R35, R39, R29, Y13, Y15, Y17, E31, E37, E0000, E000, E00, E02.

I think she is totally cute, and I plan on sending this likely to my baby cousin who does ballet.

You could also use her for you can do it, good luck, and happy birthday cards for sure. I would love to know what you would use her for!

Fish digi

i want to share a fun digi stamp designed by Kim L. Pipkin Gwin. This fish was so great to use for the masculine card that I made!
I simply printed the fish on patterned papers, cut them out and then pop dotted them to my card. I love all the detail in this stamp and have plans to use it again!

Elf Flower by Morgan Fitzsimons

Hi there, my card today features the gorgeous Elf Flower by Morgan Fitzsimons, I thought she'd be perfect for the fab Garden Patch challenge so i coloured her with promarkers and made a little wall hanging.

I made a crackle background using emulsion paint and watered down PVA glue and added lots of flowers. The flowers are made from recycled tissue paper coloured with glimmer mists and have sparkly seed beads in the centres.

Hope you're having a good weekend and that Spring is arriving where you are. Its been a lovely day here in my little corner of the UK, the tree outside my craftroom is covered in beautiful white blossom so it looks like Spring has arrived

Hi, welcome to March... such a fun month.. in Las Vegas this means our temperature is starting to rise and the winds are blowing, from the north to remind us that it is still cold in many places.

And when we think of March the Irish in all of us come out.

This card was made using a great image from Scrapbook Stamp Society called Garden Nellie This is just such a sweet image the artist is Sherri Baldy.

I colored the image with copic markers and cut her out using a spellbinder die..

The background is designer paper and I used a lace border die from Cheery Lynn for the belly band and I used some of the New Cheery Lynn corner dies in the corner..

Colours of spring card

Hi all

I am a bit behind posting this as I ahve been away for a couple of days. I tried to do it on my phone but couldn't work out how to do it, lol.

Anyway, my card has been used making Springtime Curly Sue lil ragamuffin by Heather Valentin and has been coloured with ProMarkers and Spectrum Noir pens. The papers are from First Editions Hideaway paper pad. The doily is by Royal lace. The fence and the grass have been cut using Magnolia Doo Hickey dies and the butterfly border has been cut using a Tim Holtz Edgability die. The metal corner is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Baby Shower Favor

I just couldn't resist this sweet digi.

The milk carton die is from Stampin' Up...not very big at all, but perfect to stash a few baby barrettes or some candy for a small favor at a Baby Shower.

Garden Patch - Nellie & Duckies by Sherri Baldy

Hello everyone

Here is my card for the challenge on our challenge blog. I just love this image and is ideal for spring and easter with the adorable chicks.

Recipe & Method

1. Base card is pearlescent pink Centura card which I have scored to make an easel card.
2. I printed off the image onto Neenah card and then coloured in using my watercolour pencils. I then cut this using Spellbinder labels 23 and distressed around the edges using Dew Drops VersaMagic pixie dust.
3. Using Spellbinder dies Lattice Motifs and Accents design by Sue Wilson I cut out the corners, the border and the ribbon holder with white pearlescent Centura card.
4. I placed the border onto the folded front of the easel and placed the topper over this. The corners were added to the base of the card and I threaded pink iridescent ribbon to either side of the ribbon holder and adhered to the strip of card which I had inked using Dew Drops Brilliance ink pearlescent orchid.
5. I have added gems to the corners, ribbon holder and top right hand corner of the card; the flowers are from my crafty stash.

Butterfly Fairy

Well its getting to that time of the month when the new challenges are going live over at addicted-to-stamps and
Scrapbook Stamp Society, and have we got some challenges for you.......
This week the theme is The Garden Patch, and this is my card for the week.........

Its from a Digi Stamp by Sue Miller, and is a wonderful Hippy Fairy dancing on a Flower. Isnt she cute?
I coloured the design with my Promarkers, adding some glitter to the birds and flower centre, and then trimmed the image to size. I wanted the body to stand out from the card, so I carefully ran a knife around the edge of the fairy, being careful not to cut her out completely, and added a bit of Blue mica around the edge of her body.

Then I used the Spell Binders Lattice Rectangles die to cut the a sheet of Coredinations, I mounted the image and die cut onto some paper I had found in a water damaged book of William Morris designs.
I used the Blue Pearl Promarker to colour some White dotted ribbon, and the heads of 2 of the hat pins. I then fixed the ribbon to the back of the paper with some DST, and made a bow with the remnants. I cut the long shafts off the pins, and used Silicon Glue to fix the 3 pins, (One was left white,) and the bow. I also added a couple of butterflies to continue the Theme outside the main image, and draw the eye in to the picture.

Then here i have two more MS punches. When i go to the Michael's store, first thing i do, it's looking for some new punches.

GARDEN NELLIE LIL DOLLIE & POLLY POLKA DOT~

Hello Friends!!!

Here are two fun cards I created today. I used paper piecing and copic markers to create these cards. I am really loving the technique of paper piecing as it gives me an alternative to create more aside from coloring.

Here is the first card I made using the digi image Garden Nellie Lil Dollie by Sherri Baldy~

A close up pic for you with details:

I paper pieced her outfit and ribbon on the hat with designer paper from DCWV Flower Shower Spring Mat Stack and colored with copic markers. I also paper pieced her hat using a mustard color card stock paper from DCWV. I embellished the card with a Recollection floral and lace trim. I distressed the card using Studio G pastel blue chalk ink. The background paper I used is a butterfly design from Prima's Reflection collection.

Here is the 2nd card I created using Polly Polka Dot by Sherri Baldy.

I paper pieced her outfit and hair bow with designer paper from K&Co's Spring Blossom Spring Mat Stack and colored with copic markers. I embellished the card with a lovely hot pink trim from Bo Bunny, glittered ribbon I had in my stash, an iridescent pink bow applique and pink rhinestones. I distressed the card using Tim Holtz distressing inks in Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose. The background paper is a pink card stock and floral rose pattern from the same K&CO. mat stack. I added the sentiment 100% Girly Girl from the Girl Stamp set by Recollections and used my Marvy Scallop circle punch.

Hi it's Bev here.. I just joined this amazing DT and tonight was my first participation in reveal night. OMG it was amazing to view such beautiful and creative digi's by some talented ladies.
I also was privileged to share this new digi .. girl with the Kite by Heather Valentin which I mixed with Momenta Product. It made for the perfect Hello card ever. I used lots of matted layers and popped the digi image. I made the flower and little flag tag sentiment. Isn't she adorable and too cute.

I had to make a ton of different Valentine cards this month and sort of had trouble keeping up with them all.

The digi stamps made them that much easier to make and work with!

This lovely image was created by Sherri Baldy.

It's called Lil Ragamuffin Hearts and Roses.

I colored her for my niece with copic markers. Used sentiment stamps, glittery hearts, studio g ribbon and DCWV paper! It hasn't been sent yet, I know it's late...shhhh.

I loved coloring her with the deep red and the pinks.

Aren't they adorable? Okay or they could be pretty!

Miss M Lil Ragamuffin

Hi everyone.

Hope you're all ok? Sorry I haven't been around much but had a few things to deal with and they've taken up a lot of time and energy. Fingers crossed I'll be able to participate more very soon.

In the meantime I have just blogged (and entered into the challenge) an easel featuring Miss M Lil Ragamuffin by the fab artist Heather Valentin, and isn't she a beautiful image?

I have coloured her using my new Spectrum Noir pens. They're great and give a really good result but can't help preferring my promarkers as I can be more accurate with them.

I have cut out all the layers using my Spellbinders dies. The paper is from Debbi Moore's Diamonds and Lace CD, the roses from Wild Orchid and the stars around the sentiment are from my stash.

This is the card I made for My Daughter Nicole's 25th birthday. Nicole is a TV reporter for a station in Omaha.

With this being her first big kids job. I wanted something special and unique.

When I saw that Sherri Baldy was doing Custom Avatar portraits I knew I had found the image I wanted.

All you have to do is send Sherri a photo and she creates the magic.

This is what I sent Sherri

Sherri took the photo and gave me a color drawing which I framed and is part of Nicole's birthday gift.

and I also received a line drawing which I used to make the card.

The image was colored with Copic markers. To make this card I used red, black and white paper. The saying is a digital saying which I made up.

I cut an oval opening in the red paper then I embossed the paper. Next using Memories white dye ink I highlighted the embossing. The next step was to take the next size smaller die and cut a hole in the black paper

and this I used to create a matted look. .. I mounted the red on the black then centered my image. and then mounted it all on the white card stock. The corners are black nail heads.

I hope you enjoyed this card. and also can put up with a Mom's bragging.

Good Morning. My name's Nancy and today is my first post on this blog. I would like to thank Sherri and Heather for inviting me to be apart of this wonderful team. I look forward to getting to know everyone...My project below I made for Valentine's Day for our daughter. I'm sorry it's past Valentine's Day but I do hope you enjoy it. ENJOY!!!

here's the card...

this was one of those candy boxes that has the hearts inside. All I did was open it from the wrong end, emptied the candy out and added some shredded filler with some money and little chocolate pieces. I closed it up so it looked like it hadn't been opened. I am also entering this into the Challenge over at Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge blog. So stop on over and play along. We would love to see you there.

This time a door hanger for the birthday of a friend of my daughter. She is a big fan of Lady Gaga. So I used some bright colors and extra glitter paper.

The framework behind the digi ("Moon" by Heather Valentin) is cut with Spellbinders. Further embellished with rhinestones and pearls made with a parlen pen. The flowers I cut with MFT and Magnolia, the characters and door hanger with Cricut.

Movie starlet challenge

Today I have made a card for the Scrapbook Stamp society challenge "movie starlets".

I have used the Seeking Lil Susie Lil Ragamuffins image by Heather Valentin and coloured it with ProMarkers. The papers are from the `So this is love` collection by Summer Driggs. The film die, film tape and swirl die are by Tim Holtz, the clapper board and stamp are by Whimsy Stamps and the stickers are by Cosmo Cricket.

The film strip, I printed onto accetate and was a freebie from Carmen It just didn't want to dry, so cut another strip to put behind it...stars with my star punch, and the papers have a velvet feel to the spots from Kaisercraft.."Le Chateau"..a few pink gems and cuttlebug corner dies...

Movie Starlets Blog Challenge My DT Offering

I have not lost the plot but I have made three cards for this challenge, I have these lovely digi's to play with and I really wanted to show what fun you can have with them.
Each of the cards is a type of stepper card which gives you plenty of space to play with if you want, you can find instructions for these type of cards all over the web, but if anyone has problems let me know and I will provide the measurements.

This is a middle stepper card the image is found here it is by Morgan Fitzsimons and called Cameo 1A, I used a K & Co paper.

I used pro markers to colour with skin tones and apricot tones for the dress, rose's and tattoo's. The hair was sandstone with tan highlights.

The next card is a side stepper card

I used a different colour set this time.

This is the same image as above but this time I used lavender tones for the dress, rose's and tattoo's. I also used lavender in the hair tones which are cool grey tones.

I again used K& Co papers and the butterflies were coloured to match the image colouring.

The final card is a middle stepper card.

The papers were again K & Co. The image is found here it is by Morgan Fitzsimons and called Cameo 6A.

I used skin tones and coloured the gloves etc. with pink tones, I used these tones in her hair mixed with tan. Sorry this picture is a little off Dee took them all at the same time but the lighting seems wrong on this one.

That background paper are so pretty, i wish you can touch that velvet texture.

For embellishments i used only Red Ribbon and Roses, i wanted not to use to much, as image so pretty by it self.

Heather Valentin's Off to the Ball by Shirley C

My card size is a 5-3/4" x5-3/4", I've used American Crafts Card Stocks, I selected a beautiful image by Heather Valentin: "Off to the Ball". It's a thank you gift for my daughter who reminds me of Cinderella. The image is colored with copic markers and embellished with Stickles, iamroses mulberry flowers, leaves, ribbons and a little silver slipper.

I have chozen a lovely picture by Heather Valentin: "Red Lil Ragamuffin".
It's for my mother, who is taken into hospital for an eye-operation.
A small gesture to give her some support for the big day!

Moon

Hello girls. Today i have my card made with this amazing digital image "Moon" by Heather Valentin. I used Copic Markers to color my image, and added chalks to the Moon. Sentiment was made by me "Over the Moon about You". I think it's goes so well with this image. To decorate my card i used MS border leaf punch, then i used very little punch to make this tiny flowers, and added Stickles in the middle. To made a line of the sky, i added some gorgeous Green ruffled Ribbon, and added more flowers with a buttons. I hope you like it. And don't forget to stop by for a Blog Hop.

Sherri Baldy's lil Garden Nellie

As soon as I saw this lovely Digi by Sherri Baldy I just knew that she would look beautiful using spring colours.

Recipe & Method

1. Base card is white pearlescent measuring 8 x 8.

2. The arch and green backing is from Dawn Bibby's Flower Patch Kit. I have coloured the arch using Dew Drop VersaMagic ink Tattered Straw.

3. I have added daisies from my stash as well as the roses to the swirls which I coloured in using Aloe Vera VersaMagic Ink. The bee I have left white so it stood out.

4. Down the right hand side this is paper self adhesive ribbon which is I have coloured in using my Spectrum Noirs in yellow and green. The sentiment is from my stash.

5. I have printed off Garden Nellie onto Neenah card and coloured her in using my new watercolour pencils. I have fuzzy cut around her and attached her to the card.

I have entered this little beauty into 4 challenges as well as posted on my blog, facebook page and of course I will put it into the gallery too.

Morgan Fitzsimon's Little Girl.

Hi everyone. Sorry...it's been too long but I've been struggling with laptop problems which, I hope, are all sorted now. I had to fit a new hard drive which is fine, until you realise just how much craft stuff you have on it and on your external drive. That jumbled itself up so has turned it into a very long job...

Anyway, while I was running endless Windows updates yesterday I coloured some images in, one of them being the gorgeous Little Girl image by the hugely talented Morgan Fitzsimons. And, as Christmas is just around the corner (well...just over 10 months away!) I decided to make a Christmas card, lol.

So here she is. I adore this image.

I've made the base card and layers for the easel using my Spellbinders dies and a sharp pair of scissors. I don't like thick bands of gold mirror card, so I use each die to make 3 different size shapes by tracing around either the inside or outside and then cutting them out.

The backing paper is from Bearly Mine (they do stunning papers) and the flowers were made using Marianne's Pointsetta dies and mulberry paper and then topped off with little gold flowers from my stash.

The sentiment was pinched from the My Craft Studio Winter Wishes CD.

Simple card but made beautiful by Morgan Fitzsimon's gorgeous artwork.

Hi , I'm back again with two new cards I made with the lovely piggie digi's. They are so beautiful I fell in love with them.

The basic of the cards is 15"x 15",then I made my sketch, stamp the digi on the nestabilitie,added it on my card, punch out the flowers with the EK retro flower punch, used spacers and brads, and on the flower I hang the charm. And I finished my card with sentiment and some little roses.

Some Bunny Wurves You!

Just a quickie, as I am late with this particular post, oops! This is Morgan Fitzsimons Rabbit Valentine, but don't let the word Valentine restrict you, this could just as easily be a Get well soon card, or just an I love you card.
The main image is mounted on some Acetate on the inside of the gate fold, so that it becomes the focal point as soon as the card is opened, and bounces freely.
You do need a strong acetate, but not a really thick one, so that it will keep its bounce, and its only a strip, stuck to the back of the images, and secured behind the base layer Mirri Board.

I have gone on a spring fairy theme this time, she is a beautiful image which is designed by Morgan Fitzsimons and found here. I use a silhouette file to create the outer wrap I used basic grey card to cut it out. The image was coloured with pro markers in the green hues I used skin tones for the flowers as well as the skin.

Here's a closer view of the image, I have decoupages some of the flowers and butterflies.

I have coloured the image in the grey tones on the back again using the skin tones for all the other areas. The paper is from a K & Co big pack.

Ragamuffins Emily Rainy day

Good morning!! Today i like to show you my card for Scrapbook Stamp Society with little bit of tutorial, how i made my background paper. And don't forget about our Blog Hop on 17th.
First of all, you need White cardstock, any stamp you like (i used Boots stamp), Ink pad and marker. First i random stamped my image, then i used MS marker to color all this dots. Trust me, i was seeing this dots for a wile after lol. After i did my coloring, i inked paper all around. Just if you wonder how big this card is, it's 4.5"x7" toll

Now lets put card together. I know it's very bright lol, you may want to pull out your Sunglasses. So here is what i used; Glue tape, ribbon, lace, Stickles, Glossy Accents, up-cycle flowers, White button. Then i added gems and Swirls, but they are not on this photo

For my card i used this absolutely GORGEOUS image by Heather Valentin Ragamuffins Emily Rainy Day. Image i colored with Copic Markers, and added Glossy Accents to the Rain, boots and Umbrella

On this Photo i wanted to show you how awesome her boots looks with Glossy Accents. Look on her Boots, and you will know why i stamped my background paper like that.

And her Umbrella looks like wet after Rain

Rock Star !

I made this card using Lil Sweeties Rock Star By Sherri Baldy, available here. She is just a doll! I colored here with Copics and added some Stickles to the ruffle on the dress and the star. The papers are from My Mind's Eye. The dream ticket and the die used to cut it are from Whimsy Stamps. I have never used this hair combo of colors before. I really like it. I'll be using it again.

Princess Dress Card

This card features the Dress Garland digi stamp by Sherri Baldy. I printed the image four times using the print-and-cut feature with my Zing electronic cutter. The image for the bottom layer was cropped and the corners rounded. From each of the remaining three images I fussy cut the dress using the Zing's print-and-cut feature.

Next, I used pop dots to layer the three dresses.

I used rhinestones to accent the hem and neckline of the top layer dress. Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest accented the flower clusters that frame the dress.

Lastly, I mounted the printed images on dark pink cardstock, rounded the corners of the cardstock, and adhered that to a card. A light pink satin bow finishes this girlie card.

This is the Card that I made for my Husband for Valentine's Day. I Choose an image created by Heather Valentine. called Lil Bella

This is a fun image with lots of possibilities. I colored the image with copic markers .. then added a little glitter to the wings and the heart shaped nails. The Oh puh.. leeze be mine in a stamp, that I stamped on vellum, and cut using spellbinder dies. the designer paper is a scrap I had in my box. and the doily came from a local restaurant. This is the first time I have used lace.. and I added some hearts. bling for the fun..

I think this would make a great birthday card, for thinking of you card.. so many fun things that you could do with this image.

Whimsical Oz, Lil Ragamuffin Dorothy

Good morning folks, my card today features the gorgeous 'Whimsical Oz Lil Ragamuffin Dorothy' by Sherri Baldy. I couldn't resist this little cutie and she is such fun to colour.

Dorothy is coloured with promarkers and I've used blue gingham paper stamped with a faux cross stitch stamp in bright red ink. I really wanted Dorothy to be the focal point of my card so I didn't use a lot of embellies, just some ribbon and lace and some tiny buttons from my stash.

Heather Valentin's Love Birds

Evening all

I have made this card for the Scrapbook Stamp Society challenge "Once upon a time". But being a bit of a lemon, I selected the wrong option and it entered my card with no picture, so I had to put it on again and now it appears twice. So I am not being greedy and entering twice, just being a bit stupid lol. My card has been made using Bo Bunny papers from the Gabrielle collection, the digi, Love Birds, is by Heather Valentin and has been coloured using ProMarkers.The balloon has been cut using the Whimsy hot air balloon die, the heart chain has been cut using a Memory box die and the doily has been cut using a Tim Holtz on the edge die. The cloud has been hand cut and the sentiment is from Cosmo Cricut tiny text stickers.

I used an electronically cut Princess carriage for the Fairy Tale theme, and as its an Elf and a Human, very apt!

Hello Friends!!!

Happy Thursday to all of you!!! I hope all of you are enjoying your day. Today I want to share with you a card I created using Lil Sweetie Tea Party by Sherri Baldy. You can find her HERE. She is just simply darling!!!

I colored this image using copic markers.

I embellished the card with designer paper from Fancypants called Simplicity. It has beautiful light pink roses and a touch of light green on the leaves. I used a light pink ruffle trim from my stash, a pink organza ribbon bow, WOC and Recollection mulberry paper flowers, leaves I punched with a Martha Stewart punch, as well as using the MS's doily lace punch for the border. Lastly, I added two of my handmade beaded stick pins, stickles, and a pink bow applique.

Birthday Cake Party

Hi All

Below is a card I made using Heather Valentin's digi Birthday Party Cake. I made this into a springtime card as here in the UK it is cold and miserable and I just want the Spring to get here. I have used lemon and green. I hope you like what I have come up with.

It is an A5 scalloped card which I have added green card cut out using Spellbinder die rectangle scallop. The yellow I have used Darise embossing folder than distressed using Dew Drops Versa Magic Thatched Straw ink. The image has been coloured in using a combination of my watercolour pens and Sakura glitter pens. The die is lacey oval which I have threaded fine green ribbon around and added a lemon bow. I have also added 3 buttons to the bottom right hand corner.

Was going to post this morning, but time was against me, the boys arrived ready for school,and it was "Harry's" Birthday...8 years old..awww...[.and I forgot] time just slipped by....

Emily rainy day...

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils..no DP again just corrugated card, and an accetate cover held together with brads.
Used oval pale blue beads on the raindrops for dimension.

And then...I needed to play....Yep...I sprayed it with water while photographing it...just for fun..

There she is...all wet and blurry...

Now this one did not look so blurry...but I forgot to rinse the bottle and she ended up frothy...but the picture looks more clear...

Fun and games at my house..lol..

Hi everyone.

Hope you're all ok?

It's busy, busy, busy over here but I've just found time to make a new card for you.

I've used Sherri Baldy's beautiful Whimsical Oz Lil Ragamuffin Dorothy digi for this one.

There is more information on my blog http://lexiesblogstardate.blogspot.com/ but in short I have used my Silhouette software to centralise the image in the shape I had selected.

The cutting file is from Penny Duncan and is gorgeous.

I have coloured the image using my promarkers and added a little glitter to Dorothy's ruby slippers.

The backing paper is from Bearly Mine and I have added interest by using small faux pearls from my stash on the centre of the stars which has really made them pop.

I have ran the blue centre layer on the base through my cuttlebug using a swirly embossing folder...and that's it. Simple, clean card, but I hope interesting too.

When I saw this stamp - Heres My Heart by Sherri Baldy,

I knew I had to have it!

I started with a standard blank card,

and sprayed it with Mister Hueys Ink in Cameo.

Then I printed my image on American Crafts White Cardstock.

I outlined the card also with Mister Hueys Ink.

I coloured the image in with my watercolor pencils

I used my Martha Stewart Glitter to fill in the heart.

Have a real beauty to share today from artist Morgan Fitzsimons from Scrapbook Stamp Society

Image is 'Cameo 8'...coloured with Faber Castell pencils...no DP's just silver.. teal..and black cardstock.

So beautiful to colour, just never coloured that much skin before...love the feathers in her hair, and added tiny pearls for interest.

The beautiful butterfly was from my candy win from Dora thanks Dora, just waited for the perfect image and this one was definitely it...

The gorgeous thin strips of ribbon from Claires fabulous candy, matched perfectly with the card stock. [I know...I have been so lucky with candy wins, so thankful too...]

So there is my lovely lady in all her glory....thanks for stopping by and all the wonderful comments you leave...really makes my day......

Hi everyone, I'm back with a new card. I hope you will love it again and that it give you some new inspiration to play with those wonderful digi's
When I saw this digi I fell in love with them.
The materials I used on my card:
cardstock: white and green

The details how I created my card:
First I cut out my card on 15"x 15", then I made some layers with the designpapers, stamp my digi on the nestabilitie and cut them out,colored with my copics. ( my favorite colormedium), and I stamp the sentiment on the nestabilitie too. For the finishing touch I used many flowers and bessen.

did your Grandma look like this or is this your dream Grandma, Greeting you at the door with a pan of hot homemade cookies. Need to stop I am making myself hungry.
This Image was drawn by Heather Valentin and is called Made with Love I love this sweet image, and I know I will use her often. Not as just a Valentines card. but I think she will make great birthday cards. Because I think hearts are good year around.

Now for how I made the card. The image was colored with copic markers. Then I choose to cut her out and to get rid of the unsightly white edges. I ran a black copic around the outside. The square heart is a spellbinder die, and the heart die is called heart within a heart and is from Cherry Lynn. The doily I picked up while dinning at a local restront. The small flower in the upper corner is a new one from Michael's
Oh and the heart behind the Grandma is from the inside of the heart die.. which I ran through an embossing folder.

Hi there, today's card features the gorgeous digi stamp from Scrapbook Stamp Society, Her Majesty The Queen of Hearts by Heather Valentin. She really is a 'Her Majesty' with that expression on her face isn't she lol?

I've coloured the image with promarkers and matted on black card, adding some nestie embellies. The bps are made using rubber stamps and distress inks. Ribbon and gems from my stash. I thought this image would be perfect for the fab new challenge

Once Upon a Time the latest challenge at Scrapbook stamp society

This post is a little late, computer problems. This challenge found here was a challenge in that I had a few ideas and did not know which one to go with. The great digi image found here called fairy child by Morgan Fitzsimons made me think of the seasons especially autumn (fall), so a quick hunt and I found this paper from my stash and coloured my image to match, this is the autumn fairy child who is in the woods and Once Upon a Time, I leave the story to your imagination.

I cut around the image and used the extra images I printed to decorate the card

It is a tri shutter card for those who have not tried one yet, you take a piece of 12 by 5 inch card and scored at 2, 4 and 8 and 10 inches and cut between the 2 and 10 inches score lines at 1 1/2 inches in from both long edges. Then mountain and valley fold all the score lines and then by folding the score lines in the middle section the opposite way you get the above effect. You cut the papers for each section a little smaller. Once you made one you will find it easy I promise, think of all those lovely areas to decorate with the great images from the Scrapbook Stamp Society shop.

Hi everyone. Oh i hope you are ready for our new challenge at Scrapbook Stamp Society, and it's a good one. "Fairy Tale". In order to win, as usual you must use product from the Shop. So let's get started!!!

Here is my card;

I used this very cute Princess image by Sherri Baldy, and it's call "Glinda Got the Shoes 1". You can find this digi, and much more HERE. I coloured her with markers and added just a little glitter. My background paper is a digi paper made by Mee Gee's Designs.

A Lil Rose in Your Day~

Today I want to share with you a card I created using Lil Rose digi image by Sherri Baldy.

Onto the pics~

I colored the image with the following Copic Markers:

I used the K&Co.The Painted Garden Specialty paper, purple cardstock, Neenah 80lb cardstock, and Spellbinders Nestabilities Curved Rectangle dies.

I embellished the card with WOC and Recollection mulberry flowers, a lavender bow ribbon, a handmade beaded stick pin, diamond stickles, and flat back pearls. I also distressed the edges using Tim Holtz Dusty Concord distressing ink.

Card Tutorial

Hello everyone Nataliya is here, and i like to show you how i made my card. First of all you will need to print your image. I made my image 7" toll, then i rotate it and placed on the bottom. So when you fold your card it will be open proper way. Anyways, you need to know how your printer work. For my card i used this wonderful Princess image by amazing Artist Sherri "Glinda Got The Shoes 1"

After i printed, i placed design paper on the top of my image, and added sticky tape to hold the paper. Then make sure you place this paper in to the printer same way as first time. Print

Now i need only Dress for my Princess. On this photo you can see how i cut her Dress. For my tutorial i didn't colored image, but i will recommend to do this first

Now glue all that little pieces to your image, and cut out paper around the Princess. Just on the left side of her dress make a score and fold on half.

Than grab some pencil and make a mark around your image . Then cut it out one more time. Don't you love your scissors after that??? And this is what you get on the end. Thaa Daaa!!!

I finally got around making a new card with one of the fabolus images from

Scrapbook Stamp Society/Addicted To Stamps :)

I've used the beautiful image by the fantastic artist Mitzi Sato-Wiuff called October Rose, coloured her with Prismacolors, and made a regular standing card.

I wanted the image to be in the spotlight of this card, so I decided to use very little embellishments this time - very unlike me :)

Colouring: Prismacolor Premier Pencils.

Cute as a bug on a rug..

Hello Everyone,

Back to share another gorgeous image from scrapbook stamp society by artist Heather Valentin...

This little pet is called "cute as a ladybug" and can be purchased from Scrapbook stamp society ..just scroll down to promoted products.

No designer papers...no papers at all, just red and black card stock...coloured with Faber Castell pencils, added glitter and beautiful silver hearts...gems on the end of her feelers and gave her Elizabeth Taylor eyes...violet....used my cuttlebug and dies for the corners...and that is it really.
Beautiful to colour...although with pencils the red took forever ..

This image is Wisteria by Mitzi Sato-Wiuf. It is available at Scrapbook Stamp Society. I absolutely love this artist's images. The detail is just amazing. This image is colored with Copics. I put Stickles to neckline of her dress to add some texture. The papers are from my stash.

I am a little disappointed with how the flower spray turned out in the photo. The colors are actually varying shades of lilac, but they appear pink.

I didn't want to add lots of embellishments and I don't think the image needs it so I made a bp with starburst stains, overstamped with oriental flowers and added some black organza ribbon. This week I was very busy with things doing in and outside the home but I've found time for making two cards. I hope you will love them and given your inspiration for all your projects.

First Kiss Valentine's Card

Hi everyone,

hope you're ok? Also hope that you won't get sick of me putting up post two days in a row. I'm a bit like a bus...nothing for ages and then two come at once, lol.

Anyway, today's project has been created using Heather Valentin's gorgeous First Kiss digi which is available HERE.

I have also posted this card on my blog and will also put it on my facebook and the Addicted To Stamps facebook page.

You may notice that there is an extra little heart added at the top...I own up to adding that as there was a little mark on the card which needed covering. Sorry about that Heather! It probably wouldn't have shown in the photo but too late now...

It's a square, scalloped edge base card used in the tent position. I have used a paper from Bearly Mine and colour picked from that to get the perfect colour for the matting card. The inside is decorated to match the front, minus the embellishments.

The image is coloured using promarkers and was cut out using Spellbinders large Heart Square die.

I have made the senitment toppers to fit in with the card. The roses and filigree corners are from Wild Orchid and the pearls are from my stash. I made the cream double bow out of ribbon from my stash.

It's pretty over the top, but if you can't go overboard for Valentine's Day, when can you?

Hope you like this one. I loved colouring this little digi...it has endless possibilities.

Hi this is a card I made using one of the awesome images by Morgan Fizsimmons called Cameo 5. I just love Morgan's Cameo series. This ladies are just so elegant. I colored the images with Copic markers. the frame is a Spellbinders die. and the background is a technique from Technique Junkies called double buggin. I love how this makes it look like designer paper.
I am still learning how to do some of the flower embellishments on the card.. since I really love the look of them. The flowers came from Michael's except for the large one on the bottom which I made..

Baby Lainey

Good Evening

Here is another card I have made using Heather Valentin's Baby Lainey with Baby Gabby.

Recipe & Method

1. Base card is Kanban scalloped card measuring 8 x 8.
2. I have cut out from baby paper from my stash using Spellbinder's circle and scalloped cirle which I have embossed using one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders. I have used Dew Drop Versamagic in Pixie dust to highlight the circle die around the edges and swept the colour over the scalloped die which makes the flowers pop.
3. I printed Baby Lainey out onto Supersmooth card and cut around her using another Spellbinder scalloped circle die. I stippled around the scallops with my stippling brush using the ink metioned above.
4. I have coloured Baby Lainey using my watercolour pencils.
5. Using 2 different widths of lace I have made bows. The narrow lace I have inked and added a teddy bear charm. I have also added a couple of hat pins which I have coloured the beads with Rose Pink one of my Spectrum Noirs.
6. The sentiment is from my stash too.

Lil Sue Scalloped Circle Easel.

Hi Everyone!

Hope you're all ok?

Well, I've been busy and have just finished a very girly card using Heather Valentin's gorgeous Lil Sue digi, which is available from here. She's so lovely to use and colour - she's just gorgeous.

I have already posted this card on my blog here, and will be adding it to the gallery and on Facebook.

Hope you like her.

I have printed the image onto Supersmooth card and coloured her using my promarkers. I've added just a hint of glitter on her wings.

The card base was cut out of Supersmooth card, the pink card is Hunkydory Silk Art card and the backing paper is from Bearly Mine. It's hard to see in the picture, but it's a pale pink background with pink-edged black butterflies.

All the layers (and base card) were cut using Spellbinders circle, scalloped circle and lacy circle dies.

The sentiment stamp is from the fabulous Lili of the Valley, and is stamped onto Supersmooth.

I have finished off with a rose pink double bow. I did toy with the idea of adding some faux gems but decided that on this occasion less is more.

Cute as a Lady Bug~For ya!

Hello Friends!!!

Today I want to share my DT project for Scrapbook Stamp Society. I used the Cute as a Lady Bug digi image by Heather Valentin which can be found HERE.

I think this image is super cute and versatile for all sorts of cards (Birthday, Valentines day, Spring/Summer celebration, etc). She is soooo stinkin' cute!!

I decided to create a wall hanging as I was still thinking of the Hearts & Flowers theme. Here are the pics~

I covered a piece of medium weight chipboard with the Valentine Theme designer paper from K&CO. I added a red foam heart, vintage rose lace, hot pink lace trim, a dark pink organza ribbon, my handmade beaded stick pins, misc. paper flowers (Recollections and Wild Orchid Crafts), stickles, a pink puffy applique heart, and flatback pearls.

I colored the image using copic markers and added some sparkle with stickles as well as glossy accents. I wanted to add lots of fun colors when I created her. Of course I had to add some lovely pink in there. LOL!!!

Hi, I'm Diane Ahlers, this my first post as a member of the Design Team. I'm from sunny Arizona and have been making cards for about two years. I'm very excited that I get to work with so many amazing images. This digi is "Valentine Kittens" by Morgan Fitzsimons.and is available here. I'm entering this in the current challenge at Scrapbook Stamp Society's Challenge Blog.. I colored it with Copics and used Stickles for the centers of the flowers.

I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone with this one. Typically I am not a "pink and frilly" type of person. I just started making it and it kind of went in that direction. I don't do a lot of planning. I like to experiment and see what happens. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it goes in the circular file.

Over the Top

Hello Everyone,

Had a great sleep last night and up bright and early this morning, bit cloudy, may burn off ,but who knows...I found my mojo hat...it went walk about for a few days, and had a gorgeous image to colour from Heather Valentin and coloured her up, then went blank....but while working at a clients on Monday, I picked up a deck of cards off the side table, the box broke, and the cards went all over the floor, when I looked down there were two cards face up, the King and Jack of hearts....and Mr Mojo was right there laughing at me and said 'you know what to do'...the rest they say is history...

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils, and glittered her dress trim,gloves and her neck ruffle.
Distressed all the edges of the cards and inked the edges with Heritage ink- dark walnut.

Lots of cuttlebug hearts in red/black/gold and one red rose....

Raw Raw Valentine.

Hi everyone!

I've been struggling with my mojo lately but I've scraped enough of it together to come up with this card for you today.

I've used Sherri Baldy's Lil Ragamuffins' Raw Raw Sis Boom Ba! Cheerleader digi which is available on the Scrapbook Stamp Society site.

This card doesn't need much explanation. I used a cutting file for the design and worked in both MCS software and Silhouette software. The cutting file is a bought one and not of my own design. The backing paper is from Bearly Mine. The image is coloured using promarkers. I used a speech bubble from the MCS Crafty Characters CD, and pinflair was used in abundance. The bling is from my stash.
