a little distressing

Today at Scrapbook stamp society the challenge is to distress the card.. I choose an image  which is number img177.. I just felt she would be a fun image it distress. I started by tearing the paper around the image.. I always like this look for distressed images.. then I used direct to paper technique with my new color box inks... I used some blue and terra-cotta. then I added some Memory box dies and some flowers from Wild Orchid. and of course come bling.. cause on card is complete with out it .. unless it is for the guys....

Queen for the day

Today for Scrap book stamp Society.. I am doing one of the fun besties.  I needed a birthday card for a sweet lady I work with… and I knew this would be perfect.  The image is called Queen for a day 
I colored her with copic markers… and layered her on orange paper
the dies are from Spellbinders, and memory box… The flowers are from Jolee and wild orchid..
