Tea Time

Today I am playing with a round twisted Easel card, made with a Besties  image drawn by Sherri Baldy.  I choose the image called Tea Time..  Just because it is too darn cute for words.. I colored her with copic markers and used spellbinders dies to cut her out.  the I also used a technique called out of the die.. the teal die ti a swirl die from Cottage cuts.. sure to be a new favorite.
Then I added some flowers from Wild orchid.. this is my first twisted easel round card I have done..

Writing from Paris

Hi Friends,  Sandy here with my Scrapbook Stamp Society DT creation for you!
Today we are coloring My Besties with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.

I have a very easy corner card to showcase My Bestie Digi...

Here is a close up of this sweet little girl. Her outfit reminded me of Paris.

To add some interest, I decided to make her a pop up on the card.

MY CARD TIP: Keep the embellishments to a minimum.
This card will fold down flat to mail and if you add too many 3d items,
it will make your card too bulky.

You can find this digital stamp and many, many more at the Scrapbook Stamp Society or ETSY stores.

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Hello everybody!

It's Valou250809 here for a new card to share with you.

For this card, I used papers "Maja Designs", collection " Summer ". Edges are used with "Old Distresser" then inked to the ink "Distress Walnut Stain".

I added a die-cut realized with a dies " Noor! Design ", " Rund 2 " as well as two die-cuts " Border butterflies " realized with a dies " Joy! Craft ". These borders are embossed with some powder " Frantage - Shabby Pink ".

I colorized it in the following way:

- Ink "Distress Tattered Rose" and "Distress Vintage Photo" for the skin.

- Ink "Distress Antique Linen" and "Distress Walnut Stain" for hair.
- Ink "Jean's Distress Faded".
- Ink "Distress Worm Lipstick".
- Ink "Distress Spun Sugar".

- Glitter Stickels Diamond.

I cut the image with a template " Fiskars " then I stuck it on a die-cut realized with a dies "Spellbinders-Nestabilities - Majestic Ovals".

Under the image, I stuck of the white lace decorated with white satin ribbon.

For the rest of the decoration, I added the following flowers:

- Cloth white flowers.
- Cloth pink flowers.
- Blue Rose (30 mm).
- Pink pearly pin.
- Spangled pink whirlwind.

Dance, Dance, Dance

I just love these Bestie designs!!!  This is another great one!  I have always wanted to be a ballerina, but just never had the skills, or the teacher in the small town I grew up in.

She did not turn out quite the way I had hoped when I started her, I had a few ooops along the way and had to start over once, and was able to hid a few on this one.   I still think it turned out pretty good considering.

I think looking at her, she needs a bow up in the top corner. and maybe some pearls or gems in the bottom. I guess this is what happens when you have to many start overs in one image, it just doesn't turn out the way you want it to.

I looked at her a little too long and decided she was a wee bit lonely dancing all alone on the card topper.  So I changed her up a wee bit. I tried to take the flowers off, but I used hot glue on them, so they were stuck as stuck can be.  So, I worked my flourish around the flowers.

Better?  Some yes, but not enough for me!

Sweet 16

This cutie is one of the many My~Besties cuties by Sherri Baldy.  I used scraps and I mean scraps from Summer Fresh by Simple Stories.
