Sherri Baldy's lil Garden Nellie

As soon as I saw this lovely Digi by Sherri Baldy I just knew that she would look beautiful using spring colours. 

 

Recipe & Method

 

1. Base card is white pearlescent measuring 8 x 8.

2. The arch and green backing is from Dawn Bibby's Flower Patch Kit. I have coloured the arch using Dew Drop VersaMagic ink Tattered Straw.

3. I have added daisies from my stash as well as the roses to the swirls which I coloured in using Aloe Vera VersaMagic Ink. The bee I have left white so it stood out.

4. Down the right hand side this is paper self adhesive ribbon which is I have coloured in using my Spectrum Noirs in yellow and green. The sentiment is from my stash.

5. I have printed off Garden Nellie onto Neenah card and coloured her in using my new watercolour pencils. I have fuzzy cut around her and attached her to the card.

 

I have entered this little beauty into 4 challenges as well as posted on my blog, facebook page and of course I will put it into the gallery too.

Rock Star !

I made this card using  Lil Sweeties Rock Star By Sherri Baldy, available here.  She is just a doll!  I colored here with Copics and added some Stickles to the ruffle on the dress and the star.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye.  The dream ticket and the die used to cut it are from Whimsy Stamps.  I have never used this hair combo of colors before.  I really like it.  I'll be using it again.

Princess Dress Card

This card features the Dress Garland digi stamp by Sherri Baldy. I printed the image four times using the print-and-cut feature with my Zing electronic cutter. The image for the bottom layer was cropped and the corners rounded. From each of the remaining three images I fussy cut the dress using the Zing's print-and-cut feature. 

Next, I used pop dots to layer the three dresses.

I used rhinestones to accent the hem and neckline of the top layer dress. Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest accented the flower clusters that frame the dress.

Lastly, I mounted the printed images on dark pink cardstock, rounded the corners of the cardstock, and adhered that to a card. A light pink satin bow finishes this girlie card.

Whimsical Oz, Lil Ragamuffin Dorothy

Good morning folks, my card today features the gorgeous  'Whimsical Oz Lil Ragamuffin Dorothy' by Sherri Baldy.  I couldn't resist this little cutie and she is such fun to colour.

Dorothy is coloured with promarkers and I've used blue gingham paper stamped with a faux cross stitch stamp in bright red ink. I really wanted Dorothy to be the focal point of my card so I didn't use a lot of embellies, just some ribbon and lace and some tiny buttons from my stash.
