My Besties Hello Summer Card

Hello everyone! Its my day here on the

Scrapbook Stamp Society Blog.

I have this My Besties Doll, Summer Card.

I created this with a My Besties Digital Stamp! You can purchase the stamp here in the My Besties Shop. This is Img 657.

I colored my Besties Doll using Copic Markers.

 I added more details with a Signo White Gel pen, Copic Black multiliner and peebles chalk in pink.

I fussy cut my image out using scissors and attached it to a pieces of cardstock by Echo Park.

I added a Jolee crab  for embellishment.

Snow Girl Ornament

image is from Scrapbook Stamps Society.  The image is called Ragamuffin Snow girl.  I colored this with copic markers.. and but the image out... I took a paper doily and misted it with sprits.. to make it a light purlple This was layered onto a pink circle.. which was put on a purple circle.. I used the xyron to stick this on.. The snowflakes are from Michales. and the large one behind is from the dollar store..

Happy Birthday Lulu

This card was colored with copic markers, and I wanted this to be pink and green.. Such a fun color combination.  It might be one of my new favorites.  The image is from Scrapbook Stamp Society, and is called Happy  Birthday Girl Lulu 1 By Sherri Baldy.  The dies are from  Spellbinders and so is the embossing folder.. The ribbon is from my stash.. And the flowers are just some from my stash..

Breaking News!!!

This is the card I made for My Daughter Nicole's 25th birthday. Nicole is a TV reporter for a station in Omaha. 

With this being her first big kids job. I wanted something special and unique.

When I saw that Sherri Baldy was doing Custom Avatar portraits  I knew I had found the image I wanted.

All you have to do is send Sherri a photo and she creates the magic.

This is what I sent Sherri

Sherri took the photo and gave me a color drawing which I framed and is part of Nicole's birthday gift.

and I also received a line drawing which I used to make the card.

The image was colored with Copic markers.  To make this card I used red, black and white paper.  The saying is a digital saying which I made up. 

I cut an oval opening in the red paper then I embossed the paper.  Next using Memories white dye ink I highlighted the embossing.  The next step was to  take the next size smaller die and cut a hole in the black paper 

and this I used to create a matted look.  .. I mounted the red on the black then centered my image. and then mounted it all on the white card stock.  The corners are black nail heads.

I hope you enjoyed this card.  and also can put up with a Mom's bragging.

Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone! My name is Danielle Higginbottom-Brown and this is my first post as part of the Design Team!  I chose Sherri Baldy's stamp - Fly Away to use as my first project.  I just love this stamp and had a lot of fun working with it.

For this card, I used pink cardstock as the background, then added this gorgeous patterned paper by DCWV over my stamped image.  I then used my Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick to edge the pink part of the card and also the patterned paper.  I outlined with a fine tip black pen a border around both the pink cardstock and the stamped image.  I then painted the black outline with Mister Huey's Ink in Cameo. To colour my stamp, I used my Water Colour Pencils.

 To finish off the card I used some white seam binding to make a bow.
