I love your smile

Here's the cutest Fluffy Bestie!  Isn't she darling?  This image is Img081.  She's my creation this month for the Addicted to Stamps blog.  I just had to use a yellow polka dot bikini for her with some cute polka dot paper that matches.

I hope you will check out all of Sherri's newest images, esp the Fluffy Besties at her store, My Besties Shop.  We also have a fun challenge blog, the SSS Challenge, with new contests every two weeks.  If you win, you can be our guest designer on the Addicted to Stamps Blog, so please come over and join in with us!

Cheers, Holley

Live it up!

Here's one of the most adorable Besties from Sherri Baldy.  She started up a new line called Fluffy Besties this year. This image is called Love to Shop img 112.  Check out all of the Fluffy line at her wonderful store My Besties.

I am so looking forward to a little shopping and I may be doing it right now as you are reading.  I am off on a little vacation and I hope to find a few crafting goodies to bring home to create some wonderful cards.

Bestie Luau Card

Hello Besties! Today I want to share with you a Bestie Luau Card that I made.

To create my card I used this Adorable Hawaiian Luau Bestie Digi Stamp 038 by Sherri Baldy that you can find here:

To make my card first I printed off the  My Bestie digital stamp onto 110 lb. plain white card stock. I then drew in the outline for the sand, ocean, and sky around her with light pencil marks. Next I used Copics to color in the entire scene and Bestie digital stamp. I then used white acrylic paint and a small brush to stipple in the foam and spray coming from the ocean waves hitting the sand. To finish my coloring I used a white paint pen to add a few highlights and dots to create some added interest.

Next for my card base I just folded over some patterned card stock and trimmed it to the perfect size to fit my coloring. I also cut a coordinating mat from patterned card stock about 1/4" wider than my colored scene. I attached all of the layers to my card base with an artist tape gun. To finish I added a bow, rhinestone and some flowers for some extra embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day! I hope that my project inspires you to try out your own beach themed Bestie card.  DT Mindy

Fluffy Frannie

Hello Again,

I am back again today to show you a card I designed using another one of Sherri's great digi files.  This file is called Fluffy Frannie and can be found here.  Frannie is from the new Fluffly Girls series that Sherri recently started drawing.  This image I got pre-colored.

The card is ready to go for a birthday, anniversary, or just because.  I can quickly add any sentiment requested.

The paper used was created from a back ground paper using my Silhouette application, then simply printed out.
