Pigtail Polly

Good evening from a very wet UK tonight,

First of all, I must apologise for the delay with my blog post - I realise that I should have posted this on Thursday, but due to changing dates on the 'Calendar sign up' sheet my senior memory forgot to keep me up to date! Lol.

Anyway, as there is only one post scheduled for today I thought I would play catch up (hope that's ok).  I have a card to show you today using another of the fabulous images by Sherri Baldy - I adore these little girls.  Here's what I made ...

There is definitely a theme to my style of card making, but I do have something else planned for January, so watch this space :)  This card uses the gorgeous 'Pigtail Polly' and can be found HERE in the on-line shop.  She is coloured with my Promarkers and I added a little glitter to her frilly skirt and the rose she carries (although it doesn't show well in the photo).  I love the lush colour combination of the chocolate brown and dusky pink - what do you think?

While I'm here, I would just like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very 'Merry Christmas' - I hope you all have a fantastic time and get loads of crafty prezzies :)

Hugz, Jan xx
