A quick card from Claire

Hi there, a very quick post from me as my internet is soooo slow today. I fell in love with this gorgeous image, you can find it here at Scrapbook STamp Society.

I didn't want to add lots of embellishments and I don't think the image needs it so I made a bp with starburst stains, overstamped with oriental flowers and added some black organza ribbon. More details can be found on my blog. I hope you're all having a great weekend, I'll be back soon with another card

This week I was very busy with things doing in and outside the home but I've found time for making two cards. I hope you will love them and given your inspiration for all your projects.
Those digi's are so sweet, here you can find the details how I made my cards

For both cards I used:
cardstock: white and green

nestabilities
Quickutz scalloped circkle die
little roses
MS punch leaves
sentiment Hobbypaleis
pearls
brads and spacers
MFT die label
digi: love birds
digi: bunny floral bordaer

The card with the birds in love is colored with the following colors:
flowers: B97,95,93,E02,01
leaves: YG25.23.03

The basic of the cards is 15"x15" then I made my sketch, added the nestabilitie in the middle of my card and finished it with roses, leaves, spacers, brads, pearls and sentiment.

Hi this is a card I made using one of the awesome images by Morgan  Fizsimmons called Cameo 5.  I just  love Morgan's Cameo series.  This ladies are just so elegant.  I colored the images with Copic markers.  the frame is a Spellbinders die. and the background is a technique from Technique Junkies called double buggin. I love how this makes it look like designer paper.
I am still learning how to do some of the flower embellishments on the card.. since I really love the look of them.  The flowers came from Michael's except for the large one on the bottom which I made..

Don't forget to visit us on Facebook, and watch for all the great cards the design team is making and drop by the blog and pick up your free images, they are just wonderful.
Last but not least, time is running out for you to join and  or vote on the card contest going on the challenge blog called hearts and flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative weekend.
thanks Debbie

Raw Raw Valentine.

Hi everyone!

I've been struggling with my mojo lately but I've scraped enough of it together to come up with this card for you today.

I've used Sherri Baldy's Lil Ragamuffins' Raw Raw Sis Boom Ba! Cheerleader digi which is available on the Scrapbook Stamp Society site.

This card doesn't need much explanation.  I used a cutting file for the design and worked in both MCS software and Silhouette software.  The cutting file is a bought one and not of my own design.  The backing paper is from Bearly Mine.  The image is coloured using promarkers.  I used a speech bubble from the MCS Crafty Characters CD, and pinflair was used in abundance.  The bling is from my stash.

Hope you like her.
Take care
xx

My heart's just for you

Hi everyone, my name's Sharon Curtis from the UK and this is my first post on here as part of the International Design Team. I'm sharing a card that I'm entering into the current challenge over at the Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge Blog. I've used one of Sherri's images called My Heart's Just for You. I decided to go for a subtle colour scheme rather than the usual red and pink. The flower background is stamped with white embossing powder. The image is coloured with Promarkers, then I coloured the heart die cut border with the same pink as the hearts so that it all ties in. Then I added a little tag with a pearl, a cute button and some bakers twine. Hope you like it!

Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone! My name is Danielle Higginbottom-Brown and this is my first post as part of the Design Team!  I chose Sherri Baldy's stamp - Fly Away to use as my first project.  I just love this stamp and had a lot of fun working with it.
For this card, I used pink cardstock as the background, then added this gorgeous patterned paper by DCWV over my stamped image.  I then used my Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick to edge the pink part of the card and also the patterned paper.  I outlined with a fine tip black pen a border around both the pink cardstock and the stamped image.  I then painted the black outline with Mister Huey's Ink in Cameo. To colour my stamp, I used my Water Colour Pencils.
To finish off the card I used some white seam binding to make a bow.
Thanks for taking the time to view my card, and I'm looking forward to posting a new design tomorrow!
