Halloween Lighted Glass Block

Hello Friends!

Today I am sharing with you something a little bit different. I have for you a lighted glass block I made for Halloween with My Besties SVG files cut in vinyl!

Without the light on!

With the light on!

I have used a glass block which you can find at most craft stores, I find them year around at Hobby Lobby. They are hollow on the inside and have a cut at the top/bottom with a plug for the opening.

Tip: Before adhering vinyl to any surface it is best I find to clean with alcohol and let fully dry.

You can cut vinyl in most electric cutting machines and you should follow
the directions for your machine.

After adhering the vinyl to the outside of the block I cut a 6x6 sheet
of yellow vellum and have attached the vellum to the inside
of the block with glue dots in each corner.

I have used a single light blub on the inside of the block.  You can also use
a mini strand of white lights which you can also find at most craft stores.

I have finished the block by tying ribbon around the block
and tying a big bow and attaching to the top which I
made with my mini Bowdabra.

I have used the following Sherri Baldy My Bestie SVG files

To find other Sherri Ann Blady images, 3D Printables, SVG files
and lots more please visit one of her shops.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hope I have helped to spark your creativity!
