Oldies but Goodies

Hi Friends,  Sandy here with my Scrapbook Stamp Society DT creation for you!
Today we are coloring My Besties with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.

I wanted to showcase My Bestie Digi favorites that I have and why. Hopefully this will inspire you to try your first Bestie or if you are a Bestie collector like I am, help you organize your collection.

First off, I have a favorite card fold and here it is. It is not the easiest but I think it is a show stopper. Sometimes it is hard to design how to decorate a card ie: placement of embellishments, card design, etc. With a card fold, half the work is done for you! Plus a side step card like the one below is an awesome way to showcase your Bestie.

Next, there are hundreds of fabulous Besties that Sherri has created. I have never seen such a selection like it before!  I have a Besties folder on my desktop with my Bestie collection. But I also have a second folder that is my current favorites. In it is the Besties that I just HAVE to do, or are going to be used for my DT assignments. That way I don's have to play hide and seek Bestie. Lolita (below) is my first Bestie and will ALWAYS be in my favorite folder!

Third, step out of the box...sometimes literally, lol. Besties are so versitile! You never know where you can be creative with your Bestie. I have seen crafters from all over the world on the various Bestie designs teams that have created mugs, plate, sheets, pictures, EVEN A TATTOO! all using Bestie digi and stamps!

Finally when all else fails, keep a picture of a favorite Bestie card design. One that you can go to and pull inspiration from like the one I have below. This is as Bestie fancy as I get, lol. A Bestie image, border punch, a piece of pattern paper, some flowers and butterflies equals a Bestie-ified work of art!

MY CARD TIP:

You can find these digital stamps and many, many more at the Scrapbook Stamp Society or ETSY stores.

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!
