Scann0085

Hello Besties Fans!

Happy Solar Eclipse! I hope that you were able to catch a glimpse of it this morning--it was pretty neat! Designer Noelle here with you today to share my next creation using another cutie from the Giggle Box Collection in the shop! This one is called "Scann0085" . I hope that you like what I've created with her!

I colored her with my copic markers using the no-line technique which just means there's no black lines outlining the image. You can do this easily with your digital stamps by changing the brightness to 60% and contrast to -60% when you print your image .  I used some pretty patterned papers and some enamel dots from my stash for the layers on the card and inked the edges with Distress Ink.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope that I have inspired you to make some creations of your own using Sherri's adorable images. You can find tons of cute images in the shop HERE! For more details and photos on my project, please visit my blog. Have a great week!

Winter Blues

Hello everyone! DT Noelle here with my next creation. I decided on a wintery card since it's been pretty cold and rainy here in Oregon. I used img699 digital stamp . Isn't she adorable? I really love how it came out :)

The patterned paper is by Lawn Fawn, the oval die is by C.C. Des and enamel dots by Simple Stories. I also inked the edges of the papers in Distress Ink colors "Mermaid Lagoon" and "Broken China".

I decorated around her with some paper flowers in my stash and added a sentiment and some lace trim at the bottom. I distressed all the papers with Distress Ink "Vintage Photo". Wooden Blocks

Hello Friends!

Hope you are in enjoying your day!!!!!

Vicki here with you today sharing
a special project I have made out
of a 2 x 3.25 inch piece of wood which my wonderful
hubby cut into blocks for me.

For my project I have used

 one of the

My Besties Designer Paper Packs

To start off I have used four 2 x 3.25 x 4 inch blocks.
I have painted each block with Black paint.

After the paint was dry I cut and glued
four different sheets of paper
from the paper pack to each block.

After giving the glue time to dry I put two coats
of Mod Podge Decoupage Glossy Finish on
each block.

Once the mod podge is dry it's time to
decorate each block.

I used many different types of embellishments
that I have in my stash such as
wooden words, flowers, greenery cut from card stock,
wood buttons with bakers twine and other
fun things I could find.
To add the embellishments to each block
I have found that glue dots work the best.

For the base for my blocks to sit on I used a
2 x 13 inch block which I also painted black.

You can find these and other paper packs

I hope I have showed you another way to use
My Besties in your crafting.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Hugs,

Vicki, DT

Wishing You Well

I always love working with Sherri Baldy My Bestie images.  Aren't they just the greatest.   Today I share a card with you I made for a friend's mother who had a recent accident.  I hope she likes it as much as I liked creating it.

I colored the image using Photoshop and just used paper from my stash to complete the card.  The white paper is embossed with dark blue inked edges.  The blue and white paper used is actually one small corner of a 12 x 12 sheet.  I love double sided paper.

I debated for a long time whether or not I wanted to add flowers.  When mailing, I generally keep them plain and simple. However, this time, I wanted something a little fancier. So, I added flowers to match the flower she was sitting on and the paper.

I do hope she likes it!
