'Hummingbird' journal and matching card

Hey everyone, sorry, these posts are quite 'To The Point' and that's because
crazy Suezette doesn't always have time to post on the blogs she's suppose to.
Anyway, This gorgeous digi image was created by Kim L. Pipkin Gwin and
its called 'Hummingbird'. You can find it here

I made the card and journal for my mum because she just loves flowers.
Just a little something to let her know I do think about her. I moved to the other
side of Melbourne and don't visit often anymore. She still remains a part
of my heart and always will.

Journal #3 by Suezette

Check out 'Brooksie Book Nerd'. Isn't she just gorgeous! I fell in love with her as
soon as I saw it and had to buy her. If you feel the same way, you can purchase her from here http://scrapbookstampsociety.com/auction_details.php?name=
Digi-Stand-Brooksie-Book-Nerd--Sherri-Baldy&auction_id=103677. I made the card for the artist of this digi, Sherry Baldy and then I thought whilst participating in the
Journal Challenge...why not make her the matching journal?
Do you think she'll love it?....I know she will.

Yep, you guessed it, I have another one to do. I shall be back...lol xx

Hi there everyone. It's Suezette back with another card. Long time no hear hey? Lol. It's only because I was out of action for so long, that I have this urge to create lots of cards. I have so many stamps and yet more wonderful stamps keep being created. Of course, I have to have them all! Anyhoo, I'll get on with telling you about this one.

This image is so gorgeous. It's 'First Prom' by Sherri Baldy Stamps. You can find them at ScrapbookStampSociety.com. The cardstock I used was 'Chestnut Weave' by American Craft. Instead of using designer paper, this time I used satin for the backing. I found with the satin, that less was best where the embellishments were concerned. A ribbon from my stash, the stickpin I made myself and a spray from I Am Roses. I covered the spray, (which was originally beige) in Lindy's Stamp Gang's Cactus Gold.

Copics Used:

Dress - YG93, Y21,Y23, Y26, Y28
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair - E15, E33, E39, E79
Eyes - YG93

Thanks for stopping by...see you soon xx
